The vision for the proposal "Weaving Together" is to create a local gathering place that connects nature, architecture, and history. The project features a series of wooden pavilions, each enhancing the diverse natural experiences of Slivsø: the vast horizon between sky and lake, the wild grasses along the shore, the vibrant forest, and the rich fish and bird life of the lake.

The new additions draw inspiration from and utilize the area's existing structures to create flexible learning spaces with a minimal footprint. The facades, made of woven boards, reinterpret the weaving techniques used by the region's Stone Age settlers in their fishing fences 5,000 years ago. Their undulating aesthetics evoke the ripples on Slivsø lake, created by the southern Jutland wind.
